Seal of qualitiy regio.garantie
The national quality seal regio.garantie identifies certified regional products that are produced with regional know-how, enthusiasm and passion. The certification guarantees consumers that the extraction of the raw materials and the processing of the products takes place in the respective region.
A non-compound product is 100% sourced from the named region. A composite product consists of at least 80% regional ingredients, of which the main ingredient must be entirely regional. For all regional products, it is also compulsory that at least 2/3 of the added value is generated in the region. If this is fulfilled, the product may be awarded the regio.garantie quality seal in combination with the corresponding regional brand. The regions are defined by zip code so that the origin of the raw materials and added value can be traced at any time. Food and non-food products such as wood and cosmetics can be awarded the regio.garantie seal of approval.
Anyone who buys a product marked with the national regio.garantie quality seal can rest assured that it has been inspected and certified by an independent body in accordance with the guidelines for regional brands issued by the Swiss Regional Brands Association.
